For students, whether they’re reading below, at, or above grade level, providing simultaneous remediation and advancement in different skill domains. The course will have explicit instruction for all students, including those with dyslexia or in special education classes.

Our elementary math classes will be an ongoing collaboration between teacher and family. Classes on Tuesday and Thursday will offer opportunities for teachers to model new concepts using manipulatives, hands on learning, and problem-solving approaches. Students will work together collaboratively and learn from each other during these sessions.

In this class developing writers will explore the writing process (planning, drafting, revising, editing, publishing) with peers as they develop their own creative ideas into fully “published” stories.

This science unit for young children is a gentle, fun, and interactive lessons, they will explore and learn about rain and snow, rainbows, clouds, the water cycle, what meteorologists do, and more. K-3.

Increase your appreciation of God’s wonderful creation through a study of various concepts about earth science, life science, physical science, and the human body. Learn about new and current technology being developed that utilizes and benefits from science. Explore earthquakes and volcanoes, weathering and erosion, natural resources, and astronomy while learning about the Earth and space. 4th-8th

In this course the students will study geography, culture, government, citizenship, and economics, all presented from the perspective of a biblical worldview. K-3rd

Acting/Plays - We will prepare skits and short plays for our shows. Students will get to practice acting, expression, projection, improvisation, and working together to build a show. (Age 7+) Instructor - Mrs. Alana Buttars
Typing/Study Hall - Typing 1 will cover proper posture and hand position, home row placement, all of the letters, the space bar, the shift key, the semicolon, the period and typing words and short sentences. (This will happen at the beginning of the hour for 15 minutes. Typing lessons will be completed at each student's own pace.) Study Hall - This will allow extra time to complete math, language arts lessons or to spend time reading. (All ages) Instructor - Mrs. Kim Bascle
Community Service - In this new enrichment class offered, students will be provided with hands-on opportunities to actively engage in volunteer work within their local community. Through this work, they will develop a deeper understanding of the needs of others, as well as developing personal reflection and responsibility, critical thinking, and leadership skills. Makerspace - In this fun and hands-on class, young makers will explore their creativity through a variety of exciting craft projects using real tools, recycled materials, and kid-safe supplies. Each week, children will tinker, design, and build imaginative creations. Along the way, they'll learn basic skills in measuring, cutting, gluing, and problem-solving, all in a supportive and inspiring makerspace environment.This class encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence as kids bring their big ideas to life with their own hands. 🌿 Environmental Explorers Club 🌎 - Join us on an exciting adventure to explore and care for our amazing planet! In the Environmental Explorers Club, kids will learn all about nature, animals, recycling, and how to be Earth superheroes. Through fun hands-on activities like planting seeds, making eco-crafts, nature walks, and simple science experiments, students will discover how small actions can make a big difference. This club is perfect for curious kids who love the outdoors and want to help keep our world clean, green, and beautiful! (All ages) Instructor - Mrs. Emily Higginbotham
Beginning Band at TFAI - 2:00 pm - 2:55 pm (you will need to pick up your student at TFAI)This class is open to any student aged 10 - 18 regardless of musical experience. Students will learn about all the instruments of the concert band. Parents will be informed about how to rent (preferred) or purchase an instrument of the student's choice. Using a method book, the class will learn step by step, music reading, music writing and performing. There will be a free performance for the public at the end of each semester. Art - Unleash your child’s creativity in our Kids Art Class, where imagination meets fun! This class is designed for young artists to explore various art techniques, including drawing, painting, collage, and more. Students will learn the basics of color theory, shapes, and textures while working on exciting projects tailored to their skill levels. No prior experience needed—just a love for creativity! Woodworking - In this hands-on class, young builders will learn the basics of woodworking in a fun and safe environment. Students will explore how to use simple tools, measure and mark materials, and follow step-by-step instructions to create their own wooden projects. From birdhouses to toolboxes, each project encourages creativity, patience, and problem-solving. Children will develop fine motor skills and gain confidence as they turn raw materials into something they can be proud of. No prior experience needed—just a willingness to learn and build! Passion Projects - Students identify an area of interest. Students use a variety of sources to research. Next, they create a product to present to an audience of their choice. (Age 8+) Instructor - Mrs. Emily Higginbotham

Dance - Basic technique for ballet and folk dance styles will be introduced and practiced, preparing dances for our Christmas show. Students can experience artistic expression while getting exercise! Kids will have the opportunity to work on musicality, memory, strength, performance, and coordination. (All ages) Instructor - Mrs. Alana Buttars
Beginning/Intermediate Piano - (Additional Cost required)
Mr. Murray will be coming to BBA and will pull interested students for an individual 30 minute session throughout the day. $25 per 30 minute session.**Each student's time will not necessarily be during our Enrichment period. (All ages) Instructor - Mr. Steve Murray

Physical Education - Let's get some exercise outside! The rules of basic sports will also be taught. Every class will have a warm-up, strength-building exercises, and skill-building play time. Students will build endurance, strength, coordination, and teamwork. (All ages) Instructor - Mrs. Alana Buttars
Spanish - Students will learn the fundamental skills to understand and communicate in basic Spanish. This will include learning phrases and words for everyday situations such as greeting, introduction to colors, numbers and days of the week. (All ages) Instructor - Mrs. Julie Jack

Literature/Poetry/Drama - This will be a discussion based course focusing on classical short stories and poems throughout World Literature. In addition, we will be developing student skills and understanding of the process of public speaking as well as exploring theatre arts and performance. (Ages 9-14) Instructor - Mrs. Greta Poweska
3-D Printing - Get ready to turn your ideas into real objects! In this hands-on class, kids will learn the basics of 3D printing in a fun and creative way. We’ll explore how 3D printers work, design simple shapes and even print out our own creations to take home. No experience needed—just imagination and curiosity! Martial Arts - The goal is to teach Martial Arts through the Christian truth of mercy, kindness and humility. Mr. Bannister is a Certified black belt under Chuck Norris and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Jay Pages. He’s been training 19 years and has trained with professionals all over America. In this class there are 3 goals: learn something, get sweaty, and have fun! The kids will learn very simple effective self-defense moves and play games tailored to teach them teamwork, sportsmanship, and self-discipline. (Ages 5-9) Instructor - Mr. James Bannister

Cricut Crafts - Students will discover the endless creative possibilities of the Cricut! This hands-on enrichment class is perfect for beginners eager to learn how to design and create projects using a Cricut cutting machine. (Ages 9-14, limit 5) Instructor - Mrs. Emily Higginbotham

Choir - We love to sing! We'll practice and prepare songs to share in performances, and also to share as a service in our community. Basic music technique will be introduced and students will practice carrying a tune while sharing the love through music. (All ages) Instructor - Mrs. Alana Buttars
LEGO Club - Students will unleash their creativity and problem-solving skills in our LEGO Club! This engaging program is designed for builders of all skill levels who love to imagine, create, and explore. The LEGO club will have exciting challenges, collaborative projects, and free-building opportunities. Students will have the opportunity to showcase their creations at the end of the semester.
